What it looks like

The Freeze is an Epic card that is unlocked from the Frozen Peak (Arena 8). It is an area-damage, air-targeting spell with a medium radius and low damage. When used, it can stun enemies in its radius for 4 seconds. It appears as a cyan liquid bottled inside a transparent jar. A Freeze card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.

• The Freeze resembles the real life chemical Nitrogen (N), a gas that, at a temperature of 63 Kelvin, significantly below freezing levels, is a colorless liquid that is used as a coolant, just like the Freeze.
• The Freeze is 1 of 7 spells which first existed in Clash of Clans, the others being Earthquake, Heal, Lightning, Poison, Rage, and Clone. Barring its damage, the Freeze has the exact same characteristics as its Clash of Clans counterpart. The bottle of it resembles its older version of the Freeze spell that took 2 housing spaces.
• The Freeze is 1 of 7 cards associated with ice, with the others being Ice Spirit, Giant Snowball, Ice Golem, Ice Wizard, Super Ice Golem, and Wizard Trio. In the German and Spanish language settings of the game, the Freeze's name translates to "Frost". In the Italian, Norwegian, Turkish, and Finnish language settings of the game, the Freeze's name translates to "Freezing". • Troops frozen by the Freeze will remain frozen even if they are pushed out of the Freeze's radius.

• The Freeze is featured in non-Clash games. More specifically: The Freeze is featured as a spell in Chess, in a chess variant called Spell Chess. Although not available as a spell, the Freeze reappears as Ice Wizard's active ability in Squad Busters.
