What it looks like

The Baby Dragon is an Epic card that is unlocked from P.E.K.K.A's Playhouse (Arena 6). It spawns a fast, area-damage, air-targeting, short-ranged, air troop with high hitpoints and moderate damage. The Baby Dragon is a small, spring green dragon with short, stubby, team-colored wings, ears, spikes, tongue, hands and feet, brown eyes, and yellow sclera. A Baby Dragon card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.

Trivia

  • The Baby Dragon resemble dragons from European cultures, being reptilian legendary creatures, often depicted as winged, horned, and capable of breathing fire. The Inferno Dragon is of the same breed as the Baby Dragon, but the Inferno Dragon moves slower, and has slightly more hitpoints, possibly because it carries extra equipment and wears a helmet. However, they are otherwise identical in terms of animations and deployment sound effects. A Trainer in the Training Camp is called Trainer Dragon and uses 2 dragon cards in their deck, one of them being Baby Dragon, and the other being Inferno Dragon.
  • It is 1 of 3 troops that are “miniature” versions of another troop in Clash of Clans, the others being the Mini P.E.K.K.A and Electro Dragon. They are smaller versions of Dragon, P.E.K.K.A, and Electro Dragon, respectively. In the Arabic, Thai, and Finnish language settings of the game, the Baby Dragon's name translates to "Little Dragon".
  • The Baby Dragon is 1 of 17 troops that inspired a troop in Clash of Clans, the others being Spear Goblins, Bomber, Bats, Skeleton Barrel, Minion Horde, Firecracker, Battle Ram, Ice Golem, Zappies, Giant Skeleton, Ram Rider, Inferno Dragon, Miner, Royal Ghost, Ice Wizard, and Night Witch. Unlike its Clash of Clans counterpart, the Baby Dragon in Clash Royale does not get enraged when alone. Before the game's release, the Dragon from Clash of Clans was originally planned to be in Clash Royale, however, due to Dragon's wings being too large that covers a great part of the battlefield, it was replaced by the Baby Dragon.
  • The Baby Dragon is one of the first troop cards to be featured in a Trainer's deck, alongside the Minions, Archers, Knight, Spear Goblins, Goblins, Bomber, Skeletons, Barbarians, Minion Horde, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer, Giant, Valkyrie, Wizard, Hog Rider, Skeleton Army, Witch, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, and Balloon.
  • The Baby Dragon is one of the first troop cards to receive a card render, alongside the Archers, Knight, Goblins, Bomber, Skeletons, Barbarians, Bats, Royal Recruits, Skeleton Barrel, Rascals, Musketeer, Giant, Valkyrie, Wizard, Flying Machine, Hog Rider, Royal Hogs, Dart Goblin, Zappies, Elixir Golem, Skeleton Army, Witch, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, Balloon, Giant Skeleton, Goblin Giant, Hunter, Electro Dragon, Wall Breakers, Bowler, Cannon Cart, Mega Knight, Ram Rider, Miner, Royal Ghost, Ice Wizard, Magic Archer, Bandit, Lava Hound, Night Witch, and Fisherman.
  • The Baby Dragon is 1 of 4 troops that has been featured in the Dragon Hunt sub-mode of the Treasure Hunt game mode, the others being Skeleton Dragons, Electro Dragon, and Inferno Dragon.
  • Baby Dragon's wings are undersized. It doesn't seem to have enough wingspan to support flight, yet this has no impact on gameplay.
  • The Baby Dragon, along with the Minions, Bomber, Skeletons, Skeleton Dragons, Ice Spirit, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Mega Minion, Ice Golem, Dart Goblin, Elixir Golem, Goblin Brawler, Guards, P.E.K.K.A, Giant Skeleton, Golem, Wall Breakers, Bowler, Executioner, Mega Knight, Inferno Dragon, Royal Ghost, and Lava Hound, are featured as a monster in Squad Busters.
  • The Baby Dragon's gender has been confirmed as male, as the Baby Dragon's commercial referred to Baby Dragon as "he".
  • According to the Electro Dragon's intro video, it is implied that the Baby Dragon, Electro Dragon, and Inferno Dragon are brothers.
  • The Baby Dragon is the subject of certain cosmetics in the game. More specifically: The Baby Dragon is the subject of 4 Emotes. The Baby Dragon is the subject of a few Battle Banner items.
  • The Baby Dragon was featured in the winning decks of multiple Clash Royale Tournaments. More specifically: The Baby Dragon was featured in the winning deck of the King's Cup Tournament, by a player called TMD YAOYAO. The Baby Dragon was featured in the winning deck of the Clash Royale League 2019 Tournament, by a player called Surgical Goblin. The Baby Dragon was featured in the winning deck of the Clash Royale League 2021 Tournament, by a player called Mugi.
