What it looks like
The Vines is an Epic card that is unlocked from the Frozen Peak (Arena 8). It is a multi-damage, air-targeting spell with a small radius and high damage per second. When used, it will freeze the troop in place and render it unable to move or attack, and allow ground units to hit the trapped unit for 2.5 seconds. The three troops that are targeted are always the three that have the highest hitpoints within its radius. It appears as an aquamarine-colored potion encased in a large, diamond-shaped vial, that is strangled with a curling vine with thorns. It also has a lid which is made of wood with a thick, large thorn on top of it. A Vines card costs 3 Elixir to deploy.
Trivia
- In the German, Italian and Turkish language settings of the game, the Vines' name translates to "Tendrils", "Tangle", and "Ivy" respectively. In the Italian langauge settings of the game, the Vines name used to have a different name, which translated to "I'll Catch You", but it was changed in a later update.
- The mechanism is similar to the net thrown by the Evolved Hunter and the Overgrowth Spell from Clash of Clans.
- Before the Vines card was released, the Vines' damage was decreased by 7%.
