What it looks like
The Suspicious Bush is a Rare card that is unlocked from the Rascal's Hideout (Arena 13). It spawns a medium speed, building-targeting, ground troop with very low hitpoints. Upon deployment, it spawns invisible as it moves towards the nearest building. Once the Suspicious Bush either reaches a building or is defeated, it will spawn two Bush Goblins, which are single-target, ground-targeting, melee, ground troops with low hitpoints and moderate damage. It is a tiny bush with team-colored flowers on it and a periscope mounted on top that has a white flower on it, while the Bush Goblins appear as Goblins that wear leaves on their heads and waists held by a rope, have team-colored body markings on their skin, and wield stone hammers. A Suspicious Bush card costs 2 Elixir to deploy.
Trivia
- Goblins are small, grotesque, monstrous creatures that appear in the folklore of multiple European cultures. First attested in stories from the Middle Ages, they are ascribed conflicting abilities, temperaments, and appearances depending on the story and country of origin, ranging from mischievous household spirits to malicious, bestial thieves. They often have magical abilities similar to a fairy or demon, such as the ability to shapeshift. Similar creatures include duendes, kobolds, leprechauns, and ghouls. The Suspicious Bush is 1 of 17 cards associated with Goblins, with the others being Spear Goblins, Goblin Gang, Dart Goblin, Goblin Demolisher, Goblin Cage, Goblin Hut, Goblin Giant, Goblin Curse, Goblin Barrel, Goblin Drill, Goblin Machine, Party Rocket, Party Hut, Goblinstein, and of course, Goblins.
- The Suspicious Bush first made an appearance in the Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Takeover commercial.
- The Suspicious Bush is tied with Bats and Skeletons for the lowest hitpoints of all troops, with 119 hitpoints at Level 15.
- The Suspicious Bush is 1 of 8 troops to die as a part of their attack, the others being the Electro Spirit, Fire Spirit, Ice Spirit, Skeleton Barrel, Battle Ram, Heal Spirit, and Wall Breakers.
- The Suspicious Bush is 1 of 3 troops that can turn invisible and not distract other enemies, the others being the Royal Ghost and the Archer Queen.
- The Suspicious Bush is 1 of 7 troops that has had its movement speed classification changed, the others being Skeleton Barrel, Elite Barbarians, Goblin Brawler, Cannon Cart, Lumberjack, and the Mighty Miner.
- Upon deployment, Bush Goblins chuckling can be heard faintly inside the Suspicious Bush.
- From its card description, "Sus" is an abbreviated version of the word "Suspicious" and is a reference to the Among Us game.
- The Suspicious Bush is the subject of 2 Emotes.
- Before the Suspicious Bush was released, the Bush Goblin’s speed was decreased to 60 (from 90), now classified as Medium.
