What it looks like
The Spear Goblins is a Common card that is unlocked from the Goblin Stadium (Arena 1). It spawns three very fast, single-target, air-targeting, medium-ranged, ground troops with low hitpoints and low damage. Their deployment is in a triangle formation. They resemble normal Goblins, but are taller and thinner, have sharper elven ears and side hair, wear team-colored bandanas and belts, have team-colored spear cases tied to their backs with a rope, and always have a wooden spear in their hands with a team-colored rope tied on top. They are also the same as those spawned by the Goblin Hut, Goblin Gang, Goblin Giant, and the Party Hut. A Spear Goblins card costs 2 Elixir to deploy.
Trivia
- Goblins are small, grotesque, monstrous creatures that appear in the folklore of multiple European cultures. First attested in stories from the Middle Ages, they are ascribed conflicting abilities, temperaments, and appearances depending on the story and country of origin, ranging from mischievous household spirits to malicious, bestial thieves. They often have magical abilities similar to a fairy or demon, such as the ability to shapeshift. Similar creatures include duendes, kobolds, leprechauns, and ghouls. In the German and Dutch language setting of the game, the Spear Goblins' name translates to "Spear Kobolds". In the Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese language setting of the game, the Spear Goblins' name translates to "Duendes with Spears", "Spear Ghouls", and "Spear Throwing Leprechauns" respectively. The Spear Goblins are 1 of 17 cards associated with Goblins, with the others being Goblin Gang, Baby Goblins, Dart Goblin, Goblin Demolisher, Suspicious Bush, Goblin Cage, Goblin Hut, Goblin Giant, Goblin Barrel, Goblin Curse, Goblin Drill, Goblin Machine, Party Rocket, Party Hut, Goblinstein, and of course, Goblins.
- Spear throwing is believed to have been in use by Homo Sapiens since the Upper Paleolithic, at around 30,000 years ago. Most stratified European finds come from the Magdalenian. In this period, elaborate pieces, often in the form of animals, are common. The earliest reliable data concerning atlatls have come from several caves in France dating to the Upper Paleolithic, about 21,000 to 17,000 years ago. The earliest known example is a 17,500-year-old Solutrean atlatl made of reindeer antler, found at Combe Saunière (Dordogne), France. Spear throwing was later supplemented by the bow and arrow in the Epi-Paleolithic, until it was added to the Ancient Olympic Games as part of the pentathlon in 708 BC. The Spear Goblins' spears can be seen on the Trophy Road as a decoration. A Trainer in the Training Camp is called Trainer Gary and uses an spear-related card in their deck which is Spear Goblins. This is a reference to the name origin of the name "Gary", which means "spear king".

- Their Star Level 3 Skin grants them a red mohawk similar to the Level 6 Goblin in Clash of Clans.
- Out of all Emotes with Goblins as a subject, 1 Emote has a Goblin wearing a bandana, and can be safely assumed to be a Spear Goblin.
- The Spear Goblins were featured in the winning decks of multiple Clash Royale Tournaments. More specifically: The Spear Goblins were featured in the winning deck of the Clash Royale Helsinki Tournament, by a player called Jason. The Spear Goblins were featured in the winning deck of the Clash Royale League 2020 Tournament, by a player called Ruben.
