What it looks like

The Witch is an Epic card that is unlocked from the P.E.K.K.A's Playhouse (Arena 6). It spawns an area-damage, air-targeting, medium-ranged, ground troop with moderate hitpoints and moderate damage. Every 7 seconds, the Witch will passively summon a group of four Skeletons surrounding her. However, her first wave of Skeletons will spawn 1 second after she is deployed. She appears as a woman with glowing pink eyes, no legs, wears a violet cloak, a dark gray top, dark purple lipstick, two golden skulls on her shoulders, team-colored gloves with golden armlets, a golden belt with a skull face in the middle, and a team-colored dress, and wields a staff with a ram skull on top with two golden horns on its head. A Witch card costs 5 Elixir to deploy.

Trivia

  • The Witch is shown to make the practice of necromancy. Necromancy is a form of magic involving communication with the deceased; either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily. In the Japanese language setting of the game, the Witch's name translates to "Necromancer".
  • The Witch is 1 of 19 troops which first existed in Clash of Clans, the others being Minions, Archers, Goblins, Skeletons, Barbarians, Giant, Valkyrie, Wizard, Hog Rider, P.E.K.K.A, Balloon, Golem, Wall Breakers, Bowler, Cannon Cart, Phoenix, Lava Hound, and the Archer Queen. The Witch resembles the Level 1-2 Witch from Clash of Clans. Her Star Level 2 skin resembles the Level 3 Witch in Clash of Clans. The Witch in Clash Royale shares the same Skeleton spawn sound effect with her Clash of Clans counterpart's. In Clash of Clans, the Witch gets around by floating, whereas she walks in Clash Royale. Unlike in Clash of Clans, the stats of the Skeletons increase when the Witch is upgraded. In addition, the Witch in Clash Royale does not stop moving when she is spawning Skeletons.
  • The Witch is 1 of 15 cards associated with Skeletons, with the others being Bomber, Skeleton Dragons, Skeleton Barrel, Tombstone, Bomb Tower, Guards, Skeleton Army, Balloon, Giant Skeleton, Wall Breakers, Super Witch, Graveyard, Skeleton King, and of course, Skeletons. Despite other cards that spawn Skeletons having 3 Star Levels, the Witch only has 2 Star Levels. This trait is also shared with the Tombstone.
  • The Witch is one of the first troop cards to be featured in a Trainer's deck, alongside the Minions, Archers, Knight, Spear Goblins, Goblins, Bomber, Skeletons, Barbarians, Minion Horde, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer, Giant, Valkyrie, Wizard, Hog Rider, Baby Dragon, Skeleton Army, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, and Balloon.
  • The Witch is one of the first troop cards to receive a card render, alongside the Archers, Knight, Goblins, Bomber, Skeletons, Barbarians, Bats, Royal Recruits, Skeleton Barrel, Rascals, Musketeer, Giant, Valkyrie, Wizard, Flying Machine, Hog Rider, Royal Hogs, Dart Goblin, Zappies, Elixir Golem, Baby Dragon, Skeleton Army, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, Balloon, Giant Skeleton, Goblin Giant, Hunter, Electro Dragon, Wall Breakers, Bowler, Cannon Cart, Mega Knight, Ram Rider, Miner, Royal Ghost, Ice Wizard, Magic Archer, Bandit, Lava Hound, Night Witch, and Fisherman.
  • The Witch is one of the first cards to ever receive balance changes since The First Update, the others being the Mortar, Prince, and Goblin Barrel.
  • The Witch is 1 of 3 troops that has been featured with a Stun Attack buff, the others being Spear Goblins and Executioner.
  • The Witch is confirmed to be Night Witch's sister, according to the Night Witch Karaoke Contest video and the Night Witch's description in Clash of Clans.
  • According to a Clash of Clans video on Youtube, the names of the Witch's Skeletons are "Larry", "Kevin", "Toby", and "Carl".
  • In Spooky Town, a Witch statue can be seen behind the enemy's King's Tower.
  • It is rumored that the Super Witch has been summoned from all the other 3 Witches, as demonstrated in the Super Witch trailer, hence explaining the combination of all the other Witches' abilities.
  • The Witch has received the most balance changes of any card in game, having received a total of 46 individual changes.
